Hugo Tafel Jr. 1900 - 1997

Hugo Tafel Jr. was born in Louisville, Ky. in 1900. He later moved to the west coast where he lived quite a life. He toured the unpaved roads of the Southwest in a Model T and photographed many places. Hugo, Jr. traveled along the California Coast to Canada. He was there when the Trans-Canadian Highway opened. He traveled to many National parks and witnessed many historic events. Hugo was a member of the Los Angeles Camera Club with Ansel Adams and other LA photographers. His photographs were exhibited at the San Diego World Exhibition in the 1930s.
