Tafels of Pennsylvania

One of the great Christmas traditions within the Leonard branch of Philadelphia is visiting relatives during the holidays and seeing their model train layout. What great memories as a kid visiting your Aunts' and Uncles' houses during the Christmas Holiday to see your cousins and their model train layout. This year, we returned the favor, as my Aunts and Uncles visited our home to see our train platform.

In the picture on the left, in the front row, is Ruth Tafel, Mary Tafel and Agnes Tafel. In the back row from left are Rudy Tafel, Louis Tafel and John Tafel.

Rudy, Louis, John and Walter (Agnes' late husband) were the sons of Leonard Immanuel and Gertrude Tafel.
